Georgia O'Keeffe: Seeing the World in a New Way

Georgia O'Keeffe was an artist who changed the way people looked at the world. Born in 1887 on a farm in Wisconsin, Georgia grew up surrounded by the colors of nature. While most children were busy with chores, Georgia spent much of her time observing the shapes of leaves and the colors of the soil. By the time she was ten years old, she knew exactly what she wanted to be: an artist. She didn't want to just paint what everyone else saw; she wanted to show people the world through her own unique eyes.
