Mr. Green: Welcome, team! We have seeds, soil, and pots. To do this job, we must work as a team.
Leo: I want the big red shovel! I want to dig first!
Maya: Wait, Leo! I need to put soil in the pot first. We cannot dig before the dirt is ready.
Sam: Look at all these seed packets. Which ones do we plant today?
Emma: I have the water can. Can I pour the water right now?
Narrator: Everyone is talking at the same time. Dirt spills onto the blue table.
Mr. Green: Stop, look, and listen, friends. What happens when we all rush at once?
Leo: The soil fell on the floor. My shoes are dusty.
Maya: We made a big mess. No seeds are in the pots yet.
Sam: In the real world, people make a plan first. My mom says planning saves time.
Emma: That is a smart rule! Let us make a plan together.
Narrator: The four students put their tools down. They look at Mr. Green and smile.
Mr. Green: That is wonderful thinking. What should our first step be?
