Talking to New People

It can be fun to talk to people you don't know!

But sometimes, it can feel a little scary.

Smile and Say Hello!

When you see someone new, give them a friendly smile.

Saying "Hello!" is a great way to start.

Ask a Question

Ask them something easy.

Like, "Do you like to play outside?" or "What is your favorite color?"

Talk About Things You Both See

If you are at the park, talk about the swings.

If you are in class, talk about the books.

Listen Carefully

When they talk, listen!

This shows you care about what they say.
