He stood in the cold school yard. The kids played with him every day.

He wanted to sit at a small desk. But he did not want to melt.
He waited for the right time. The moon was still in the sky.
It was very early in the morning. The sun was not up yet.
The school door was left open. Snowy hopped inside the long hall.
His feet made small wet spots. He saw a room with many chairs.
He saw a board with many colors. Snowy sat in the front row.
Snowy loved the smell of the room. It smelled like paper and glue.
He looked at the letters on the wall. He said the letters in his head.
Soon the sun began to rise. The sky turned pink and orange.
The kids started to walk in. They saw Snowy in his seat.
They did not scream or run. They were very happy to see him.
The teacher smiled at the snow friend. She gave him a blue hat to wear.
They turned on a cold fan for him. The kids showed him a funny story.
They read about the cold North Pole. Snowy learned how to draw a star.
He learned how to count to ten. He was a very smart snowman.
He liked to hear the kids laugh. He liked to look at the bright pictures.
