A simple black and white coloring page for kids featuring a big dog and a small dog playing with a ball.
The Big Red Ball

Ben went outside to the green grass. He held a bright red ball in his hand.

Sam was a big brown dog. Pip was a small white dog.

The dogs saw the ball and jumped up. They were very happy to see the toy.

"Are you ready?" Ben asked the dogs. Sam and Pip wagged their tails fast.

Ben threw the ball across the yard. The red ball flew high in the air.

Sam ran fast with his long legs. Pip ran fast with her short legs.

The ball bounced once on the grass. It bounced twice near the fence.

Sam got to the ball first. He picked it up in his mouth.

He felt proud of his prize. He trotted back to Ben.

Pip wanted to play with the ball too. She barked a happy bark at Sam.

Sam dropped the ball on the grass. Then both dogs grabbed the red toy.

They pulled left and they pulled right. It was a fun game of tug.

The ball was soft and easy to grip. Both dogs held on with all their might.

Pip gave a big tug and won the ball. She ran in a circle around Sam.

Sam chased her around the old tree. They ran until their paws were dusty.

Ben laughed and clapped his hands. He loved to see his pets play.

The sun was warm on their soft fur. Soon the dogs were very tired.

They sat down under a big oak tree. The shade felt cool and nice.

Ben sat down on the grass next to them. He patted Sam on his soft head.

He patted Pip on her white ears. The dogs licked Ben on his hand.

He gave Sam and Pip some cool water. The water tasted very good.

The dogs laid down to take a nap. The red ball rested between them.

It was a great day to play with a ball. They were the best of friends.
