Mia and Star's Big Ride
Princess Mia lives in a very big castle. The castle has tall stone walls.
She has a best friend named Star. Star is a tall white horse.
Star has a long white tail. His coat is as bright as snow.
The sun is high in the sky today. The clouds look like soft white wool.
Mia walks down to the big stable. She wants to find her horse.
"Hello, Star!" Mia says with a smile. Star makes a happy sound and nods.
Mia brushes Star's soft white fur. The fur is very clean and smooth.
She puts a brown saddle on his back. It is time for a long ride.
They walk out of the castle gate. The grass is green and very tall.
Star walks slowly through the gate. Mia pats his neck with her hand.
They see a large field of flowers. The flowers are red, blue, and pink.
A small yellow bird flies in the sky. It sings a sweet song to the pair.
Mia and Star go to a cool stream. The water moves over gray rocks.
Star takes a long drink of water. The water is cold and very clear.
Mia smiles at her best friend. "You are a good horse," says Mia.
Star wiggles his big, soft ears. He is happy to be with the princess.
They start to run across the field. The wind blows fast in Mia's hair.
It feels like they are flying high. They are having so much fun today.
They see a tall oak tree in the field. They stop to rest under its shade.
Soon, it is time to go back home. The sun is getting low in the sky.
They walk back to the big stable. The castle looks gold in the sun.
