How do I choose the right grade for my child?
Start with their school grade, then adjust by what they can actually read. If passages feel frustrating, step one grade down; if they finish everything easily, step up. Confidence grows fastest when most of a text is within reach.

We are not in the US school system — do grades still work for us?
Yes, but you may prefer the English reading levels, which describe text difficulty without any school-system labels. They draw on the same library, organized for learners of English anywhere.
