Dear Mrs. Green,

I need some help today.

I cannot find my favorite pencil.

It is bright shiny blue.

It has a big star eraser on the top.

I used it this morning.

I was sitting at the round red table.

I drew a yellow sun and a green tree.

Then I went to the rug for story time.

I think I left the pencil by the book bin.

Can you please look under the rug?

Maybe it rolled away on the floor.

Thank you for helping me.

From,

Leo
