A Sunny Day Picnic

The sun is very bright today. Leo and Maya want to go outside.

Leo opens the basket to find the food. But where is the sweet juice?

Maya laughs and points to the grass. The juice box is hiding behind a pink flower.

They drink their juice and eat their snacks. The cheese tastes very good.

A dog runs by with a ball. The dog is brown and has a wagging tail.

The dog stops to sniff the air. Then the dog runs back to its friend.

Leo and Maya see many flowers. The flowers are yellow, red, and blue.

They smell very sweet in the breeze. A tiny black ant walks onto the blanket.

The ant looks at a small piece of bread. Leo leaves a tiny crumb for the ant.

The ant is very happy to have a snack too. They look up at the blue sky.

They watch the big white clouds. One cloud looks like a big rabbit.

Another cloud looks like a fluffy cat. The wind blows softly through the trees.

It is a very good day for a picnic. They pack up their things when they are done.

They walk back home with big smiles. They can not wait for another sunny day.
