Barnaby the Happy Bee
Barnaby was a happy bee. He lived in a bright, yellow hive with all his bee friends. Every morning, Barnaby would wake up with the sun. He would stretch his little legs and wiggle his wings. “Buzz, buzz! Time to make honey!” he would say.
Barnaby loved to fly around the garden. He would zoom past the red roses and the bluebells. But his favorite flowers were the big, yellow sunflowers. They were as tall as him!
When Barnaby found a sunflower, he would land gently on its petals. He would drink the sweet nectar with his long tongue. Then, he would roll around in the yellow pollen. He looked like a little, yellow dust bunny. After, he would fly back to the hive with the pollen.
At the hive, Barnaby would give the pollen to the other bees. They would use it to make yummy honey. All the bees loved Barnaby because he always brought back the best pollen. And Barnaby loved them because they were his friends. He always had a smile on his face. Barnaby the bee really was happy!
