Bee Bee and the Nightlight
Bee Bee was a very friendly little ghost. Bee Bee lived in a cozy attic at the top of a big house.
Most ghosts loved the night, but not Bee Bee. Bee Bee was afraid of the dark!
When the sun went down, the room became dim. Bee Bee began to shiver and shake.
"It is too dark in here," Bee Bee whispered. Bee Bee needed to find a light.
Bee Bee floated softly down the wooden stairs. The hallway was very quiet and still.
Bee Bee looked on a table, but there was only a book. Bee Bee looked by the door, but there was only a coat.
Then, Bee Bee saw something bright near the floor. It was a little nightlight shaped like a star!
The nightlight was resting on a soft rug. Bee Bee gently pushed the plug into the wall outlet.
Click! The little star lit up with a warm, yellow glow. Soft light filled the hallway.
The dark shadows disappeared at once. Bee Bee smiled a big, happy smile.
Bee Bee curled up right next to the warm star. Now the night felt safe, and Bee Bee fell fast asleep.
