Bolt's First Day

Bolt was a robot. He was big and shiny. Today was Bolt's first day at school.

Bolt felt a little scared. He did not know anyone. He walked into the classroom. The room was full of kids. They all looked at him.

A girl with pigtails smiled. "Hello!" she said. "I am Lily."

"I am Bolt," he said. "It is my first day."

"Welcome!" said Lily. "Come sit with me."

Bolt sat next to Lily. The teacher, Ms. Davis, started the lesson. Bolt listened. He learned about numbers and letters. It was fun!

At lunch, Bolt ate oil. It was his favorite. Lily laughed. "That is funny!" she said.

After lunch, they played outside. Bolt ran fast. He zoomed around the yard. Everyone cheered for him.

By the end of the day, Bolt was happy. He made a new friend. School was not scary at all. Bolt could not wait for tomorrow.

Bolt learned that even though he was different, he could still make friends and have fun at school. It was a great first day!
