Dear Diary,
Tonight was my first flight class. I am very small, but my black cape is big!
Mom told me to flap my wings. I went up, up, up into the air!
Then I saw the wall. Bonk! I bumped my nose on a tall shelf.
Ouch! That did not feel good. A soft toy fell right on my head.
Dad said, "Use your big ears, Count Flutter." He told me to listen close to the room.
I tried again. I spread my wings wide.
Flap, flap, whoosh! I zoomed past the red curtains.
I turned left before the sofa. I zoomed right before the lamp.
No more bonks for me! I landed safely on my velvet pillow.
Flying is hard work. Now it is time for a glass of warm tomato juice and a long nap!
