Danny the Dino's Chinese New Year!

Danny the Dino's Chinese New Year!
Danny the dinosaur loved to explore. One day, he hopped on a big airplane and flew to China! He wanted to see how people celebrate Chinese New Year. When he arrived, he saw bright red lanterns hanging everywhere.
The streets were filled with happy children wearing colorful clothes. Some kids held yummy snacks, and others waved little red envelopes.
"What are those?" Danny asked a little girl with a big smile. "These are lucky money envelopes!" she giggled. "My grandma gave them to me!"
Danny watched a long, shiny dragon dance down the street. People played drums, and everyone cheered. The dragon twisted and turned, its eyes sparkling. Danny even got to hold one of the dragon's poles! It was so much fun. He laughed and waved with the other kids.
After the dragon dance, Danny smelled something delicious. A boy offered him a dumpling. It was warm and tasty. "Happy New Year, Danny!" the boy said. Danny smiled. "Happy New Year to you too!" He loved celebrating Chinese New Year in China.
