Dash's Big Race
Dash was a small dog. But he had a big dream. He wanted to run in the Iditarod! The Iditarod is a very long dog sled race in Alaska.
Dash lived with a musher named Sarah. Sarah loved all her dogs. She knew Dash was small, but he had a strong heart.
One day, Sarah said, "Dash, you can be on my team!" Dash wagged his tail. He was so happy!
The race started. The dogs ran fast. Dash ran his best. He pulled and pulled. The snow was cold. The wind blew hard.
Some days were sunny. Some days were snowy. But Dash never stopped. Sarah cheered him on. "Good job, Dash!" she called.
Finally, they saw the finish line. Dash and his team ran faster. They crossed the line! They did it! Dash was so proud. He was a small dog with a big heart. And he finished the Iditarod!
