Dr. Maya's Day

Once upon a time, there was a kind doctor. Her name was Dr. Maya. Dr. Maya loves to help people feel better. She works at a clinic. A clinic is like a small hospital.

In the morning, Dr. Maya sees kids. Some kids have a cough. Some kids have a tummy ache. Dr. Maya is very nice. She asks, "How are you feeling today?"

Dr. Maya uses her tools. She uses a light to look in your ears. She uses a stethoscope to hear your heart. A stethoscope helps her hear if your heart is strong.

If you are sick, Dr. Maya knows what to do. She might give you medicine. Medicine helps you get better. She always says, "Take your medicine and rest."

Dr. Maya likes to help everyone. She makes sure kids are healthy and happy. At the end of the day, Dr. Maya is happy too. She helped many kids feel good!
