Exploring Starved Rock State Park
Starved Rock State Park is a special place in Illinois. It is located right next to the big Illinois River.
Many people visit the park every year to walk outside. It is a fun place to see nature.
The park has very tall rock walls. These rock walls are made of soft sand rock.
Water cut through the rock long ago. This made deep canyons in the ground.
