Get Ready for Story Day!

Attention, Room 2B readers! We are having a special Story Day this week. It is time to celebrate our favorite books and have fun together.
Here are the details for our big day:
- Who: All students in Room 2B
- What: Story Day with paper hats
- When: Friday, October 14, at 1:30 p.m.
- Where: The reading rug in our classroom
What to Bring: Please bring one favorite picture book from home or pick one from our classroom library. You will share this book with a reading buddy.
What We Will Make: We are going to make colorful paper hats before we read! You can make a crown for a king, tall ears for a bunny, or a pirate hat. We will have paper, stickers, markers, and glue sticks ready on the art table.
Action for You: Think about your favorite book character before Friday. Pick one character you like best. When you arrive on Friday morning, write that character's name on the sign-up chart next to the classroom door. This will help you decide what kind of paper hat you want to build during art time.
We cannot wait to see your creative hats and hear your wonderful stories on Friday!
