Glowin: The Overly Bright Ghost

In the town of Spooksville, there lived a ghost named Glowin. Unlike the other ghosts who enjoyed floating in the shadows and saying "Boo!", Glowin had a problem. He shone too brightly! Instead of a spooky, see-through glow, Glowin sparkled like a disco ball.

One Halloween night, all the ghosts of Spooksville gathered for their annual Boo Bash. Glowin was excited, but also nervous. He worried his bright glow would ruin the spooky atmosphere. As he floated into the town square, all the other ghosts stopped their ghostly games and stared. Their jaws dropped (if ghosts have jaws!).

"Glowin!" exclaimed a grumpy old ghost named Grumbles. "Your light is blinding! How are we supposed to scare anyone when you're lighting up the whole town?"

Glowin felt his ghostly heart sink. He tried to dim his light, but it was no use. He shone brighter than ever. Just when he was about to float away in shame, a little girl named Lily skipped into the square. She wasn't scared at all. In fact, she was smiling.

"Wow!" Lily said. "You're the prettiest ghost I've ever seen! Can you help me find my lost kitten? It's really dark in the forest."

Glowin’s light sparked even brighter as an idea struck him. "Of course!" he said. He floated into the forest, his light guiding the way. Soon, they found Lily's kitten, Mittens, stuck in a tree. Glowin’s bright light helped Lily rescue Mittens, and Lily was overjoyed.

The other ghosts watched in amazement as Lily thanked Glowin. Grumbles cleared his throat. "Well, Glowin," he said, "I guess sometimes being bright isn't so bad after all. You helped someone!"

From that day on, Glowin became Spooksville's official helper ghost. He used his bright light to guide lost travelers, find missing toys, and even light up the town square for nighttime parties. Glowin learned that being different wasn't a bad thing. In fact, it was what made him special.
