How to Make a Paper Plate Pumpkin
Fall is here! Pumpkins grow big and round outside.
You can make your own pumpkin today. It is fun and easy to do!
Things You Need
- One white paper plate
- Orange paint
- A paint brush
- Black paper
- Green paper
- A glue stick
- Child safety scissors
Step 1: Paint the Plate
Put your plate on a clean table. Dip your brush into the bright orange paint.
Paint the whole front of the plate orange. Set the plate aside so it can dry.
Step 2: Cut the Stem
Pick up your green paper. Use your scissors to cut out a rectangle shape.
This green rectangle is the pumpkin stem. Put it next to your plate.
Step 3: Make the Face
Take your black paper. You can make a happy face for your pumpkin.
Carefully cut two triangles for the eyes. Cut one small triangle for the nose.
Next, cut a big shape for a smiling mouth. You can give your pumpkin funny teeth!
Step 4: Glue the Pieces
Check your orange plate to see if it is dry. Now you can use your glue stick.
Rub glue on the bottom of the green stem. Stick the stem to the top of the plate.
