Kip's Big Jump

Kip the kangaroo lived in a sunny field with tall grass. He liked to eat the juicy green grass and play with his friends. But Kip had a secret. He was afraid to jump! All the other kangaroos could jump so high. They bounced all around the field. Kip stayed on the ground.

"Why don't you jump, Kip?" asked his friend, Lila.

"I... I don't like it," Kip said quietly. He felt his tummy get wobbly. Jumping looked scary.

One day, Kip was eating grass near the big rocks. He heard a small voice. "Help! I'm stuck!"

Kip looked around. He saw Eddie the echidna. Eddie was stuck between two big rocks!

"I'll help you, Eddie!" Kip said. But Eddie was far away. Kip would have to jump over the rocks to get to him. Kip felt his tummy get wobbly again. He was scared to jump. But Eddie needed help!

Kip took a deep breath. He thought about Eddie. He closed his eyes. Then, he jumped! He jumped over the rocks! Kip had never jumped so far before.

"Eddie, are you okay?" Kip asked.

"I'm okay now! Thank you, Kip!" Eddie said.

Kip helped Eddie get out from between the rocks. Kip felt so happy. He wasn't scared anymore. He learned that even when you feel nervous, you can be brave and try. Now, Kip jumps all around the sunny field with his friends!
