Leo and Mia: Our Green Planet Promise

Characters:

  • LEO: A curious and caring student
  • MIA: Leo's thoughtful friend

(The scene opens with LEO and MIA sitting on a park bench, looking at a crumpled paper on the ground.)

LEO: Oh, look! Someone left this paper on the ground. It makes the park look messy.

MIA: You're right, Leo. It's important to keep our planet clean. When we throw trash on the ground, it can hurt animals and make the Earth dirty.

LEO: So, what can we do to be planet protectors?

MIA: Lots of things! First, we can always put our trash in a bin. If there's no bin, we can carry it home and throw it away there.

LEO: That's a good idea! What else?

MIA: We can also recycle. Do you know what that means?

LEO: Is it when we turn old things into new things? Like paper and plastic bottles?

MIA: Exactly! Recycling helps save trees and energy. And another big one is to save energy at home. Turn off lights when you leave a room and don't leave the water running when you brush your teeth.

LEO: Wow, those are all simple things! I can definitely do that. So, putting trash away, recycling, and saving energy. It sounds like we can all be planet protectors.

MIA: We sure can! Every little bit helps make our Earth a healthier, happier place for everyone.
