Leo and Pipoca in the Fog

It was a beautiful day in the forest. The warm sun shone brightly in the blue sky.
A young boy named Leo decided to go for a nice walk. His little dog, Pipoca, went with him. Pipoca wagged her tail happily. They walked along a soft dirt path.
Little birds sang sweet songs in the tall branches. A gentle breeze blew through the green leaves. Everything felt calm and cheerful. Leo skipped over small rocks on the trail.
Suddenly, the air felt very cool. A white cloud began to drift down between the tall trees. It was a thick and mysterious fog. In just a few minutes, the fog covered the entire path.
Leo stopped walking and looked around. He could hardly see the big trees anymore. The forest seemed to disappear before his eyes! Pipoca sat down right next to Leo's feet.
"Stay calm, Pipoca," the boy whispered softly. "We will wait right here together."
Leo held his furry friend's leash tightly. They stood very still and listened closely. The fog looked like soft cotton floating in the air. It danced among the brown branches. Pipoca sniffed the damp air with curiosity. There was no noise at all, only quiet silence.
After a few moments, a warm golden light glowed above them. The bright sun began to warm the cool forest. Slowly, the thick white fog began to fade away. The tall trees and colorful flowers appeared once again.
Right in front of them, a cute squirrel sat eating a tasty nut. Leo laughed with delight. The clear path home was easy to see now. Leo and Pipoca skipped down the trail, feeling happy after their fun adventure.
