Leo sat in the back seat of the red car. He looked out the bright window.

The car drove down a long road in Illinois. Leo saw green hills all around him.

He saw big corn plants growing high in the sun. The plants waved in the gentle wind.

"Look at that big red barn!" Leo said. His mom smiled and nodded.

Next, Leo saw big white wind mills on a hill. They spun slowly in the blue sky.

"They make power from the wind," said his dad. Leo watched them spin around and around.

Soon, the car stopped at a small farm stand. A friendly farmer gave Leo a fresh apple.

It was sweet and crunchy. Leo loved his fun trip across the grassy hills.
