Lily's Cave Adventure
Lily loved rocks. She loved shiny rocks, smooth rocks, and even bumpy rocks. One sunny day, Lily and her family went to Rickwood Caverns.
"Wow!" Lily said.
The cave was big and dark. It was also cool. Lily held her mom's hand as they walked deeper inside. Water dripped from the ceiling.
"Look!" Lily shouted. She saw a tiny hole in the wall. It was hidden behind a big rock. Lily peeked inside.
It was a small tunnel.
"Mom, can I go in there?" Lily asked. Her mom looked worried, but her dad smiled.
"Just be careful," he said.
Lily crawled into the tunnel. It was dark, but she had a small flashlight. The tunnel twisted and turned. Then, Lily saw something amazing!
It was a hidden cave! Shiny crystals sparkled on the walls. A small, clear pool of water sat in the middle. Little fish swam in the pool.
"This is my secret cave!" Lily whispered. She spent a long time looking at everything. She felt like she was the first person to ever see it. She smiled.
When it was time to leave, Lily felt sad. But she knew she could come back anytime. She had a secret, special place inside Rickwood Caverns.
Lily crawled back through the tunnel. She ran to her mom and dad.
"I found a secret cave!" she said.
Her mom and dad smiled. They knew Lily would always find amazing things, no matter where she went.
