Lily's Lost Toy

Lily loved her toy bear, Barnaby. Barnaby was soft and cuddly. One sunny day, Lily and Barnaby went to the park. They played on the swings. They slid down the slide. Lily had so much fun!

Suddenly, Lily looked around. Barnaby was gone! "Oh no! Where's Barnaby?" she cried. Lily looked under the swings. She looked behind the slide. Barnaby was not there.

A little blue bird chirped from a tree. Lily asked, "Little bird, have you seen my bear? He's brown and very cuddly." The bird chirped again and flew to a big oak tree.

Lily followed the bird. She looked up in the oak tree. There was Barnaby! He was sitting on a branch. Lily smiled. She carefully climbed the tree and got Barnaby. She hugged him tight. "I'm so happy you're safe!" she said. Lily and Barnaby went home, happy to be together.
