Make a Pretty Paper Bow
Do you have old paper at home? You can reuse colorful paper instead of throwing it away. When you reuse things, you help protect the Earth. Old magazines, comics, and wrapping paper make great craft supplies. Today, you can turn plain paper strips into a bright gift bow.
First, gather the tools you need. You will need safe, pre-cut strips of colorful paper. You also need a glue stick or clear tape. Ask an adult if you need help finding safe strips to use. Place all of your supplies on a flat, clean table.
Next, pick out five paper strips to start. Take one strip and hold both of the ends. Gently bring the ends together to form a soft loop. Use a dab of glue to stick the ends in place. Make four more loops with your other strips.
Now, it is time to assemble your bow. Lay two loops across each other so they make an X shape. Glue them together right in the center. Then, glue the other loops on top to fill in the empty spaces. Press down gently with your fingers so the glue holds.
