Make a Shark Model

Do you want to make a cool shark? It's easy to do with things you find at home. This guide will show you how to build a shark model using recycled stuff. Let's get started!

What You Need

  • Empty plastic bottle

  • Cardboard

  • Scissors

  • Glue

  • Paint or markers

  • Googly eyes (optional)

Steps

  1. Clean the Bottle: Make sure your plastic bottle is clean and dry.

  2. Cut the Cardboard: Cut out fins and a tail from the cardboard. You'll need two side fins, one top fin, and a tail fin. Ask a grown-up to help with the scissors.

  3. Glue the Fins: Glue the side fins onto the sides of the bottle. Glue the top fin on top of the bottle. Glue the tail fin to the back of the bottle.

  4. Let it Dry: Wait for the glue to dry. This might take a little while.

  5. Paint Your Shark: Now, paint your shark! You can use blue, gray, or any color you like. Let the paint dry.

  6. Add Eyes: If you have googly eyes, glue them on. If not, you can draw eyes with a marker.

  7. Show Off Your Shark: Great job! You made a shark model. Now you can play with it or show it to your friends.
