Make Fingerprint Holiday Lights
You can make a picture of shining holiday lights. It is fun and easy to do with paint and your fingers!
Things You Need:
- One sheet of white paper
- One black crayon or marker
- Washable paint in bright colors
- A wet paper towel
Step 1: Draw the Cord Take your black marker. Draw a long, curvy line across the paper.
Add little loops in the line. This line is the wire for your lights.
Step 2: Draw the Sockets Draw small black squares under the line. Spread them out along the curvy wire.
Each little square holds one light bulb. Leave room between each square.
Step 3: Add the Colorful Lights Dip the tip of your finger into one paint color. Do not use too much paint.
Press your finger right above a black square. Lift your finger up to see a bright bulb!
Step 4: Use More Colors Wipe your finger clean with the wet paper towel. Now dip your finger into a new color.
Press it by the next square. Make red, green, blue, and yellow bulbs all along the wire.
Step 5: Let It Dry Wash your hands with soap and water. Let your colorful picture dry on a flat table.
Now your holiday lights are ready to hang up! They look bright and cheerful on the wall.
