Dear Diary,

Today was a big day. We went to a real palace!

It is in a city called Phnom Penh. The palace has bright yellow roofs.

They look like gold in the sun. I felt like a king walking inside.

Next, we saw the Silver Pagoda. The floor is made of real silver!

It was so shiny and clean. I had to take off my shoes to walk on it.

There was a big statue of Buddha. It was made of green emerald.

It was very beautiful. I liked the shiny gold statues too.

After that, we walked to the water. This is where the big rivers meet.

The rivers look like giant blue roads. We saw many boats go by.

I saw a boat with a red flag. We waved at the people on the boat.

My feet are tired now. But my heart is very happy.

Goodnight, diary!
