My Paper Fish

Subject: My Paper Fish
Dear Grandma,
Today at school, we made paper fish in art class. Our table had bright paper and big glue sticks.
I picked blue paper for the body of my fish. Then I cut out a wide tail with child scissors.
Next, I glued shiny green scales on the sides. The paper scales overlap just like real fish scales.
My fish has one big googly eye. When I tap the paper, the little black eye wiggles!
My teacher helped me punch a small hole at the top. She tied a long string through the hole.
Now my fish hangs by our sunny classroom window. The breeze blows, and it looks like my fish is swimming!
I made this fish to show you on Friday. I hope you like my art project!
Love, Leo
