Dear Room 2B Learners,

We have exciting news about our big jigsaw puzzle table! Our class is working hard on the giant solar system puzzle. However, the old spot next to the coat hooks was too busy. Students kept bumping into the table while hanging up their backpacks. Pieces were dropping on the floor.

Starting on Tuesday, October 15, our puzzle table has a brand-new home. It is now located in the back corner of Room 2B, right next to the sunny window and the reading rugs. This quiet corner will help everyone focus and think.

Here is how you can use the new puzzle corner:

  • When to visit: You may visit during indoor recess or free-choice time from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • How many can play: Only three students may work at the table at the same time so everyone has elbow room.
  • Voices: Please use your soft whisper voices. Our friends in the reading rugs are enjoying quiet books.
  • Cleaning up: When the five-minute cleanup bell rings at 2:00 p.m., do not take the connected pieces apart. Just place any loose pieces inside the blue plastic bin on the shelf. Then, push your wooden stool neatly under the table.

Thank you for taking care of our new space. Let's finish that giant puzzle together!
