Pip the Polar Bear's Big Trip

Pip the Polar Bear's Big Trip
Pip was a little polar bear. He lived where it was very cold. All year it was white with snow. Pip loved to play in the snow. But Pip wanted to see something new.
"I want to go on a trip!" Pip told his mom. "Can we go somewhere warm?"
Pip’s mom smiled. "Yes, Pip! We can go on a trip. We will go to the beach!"
Pip jumped up and down. He had never been to a beach. He packed his bag. He put in his sunglasses and a beach ball.
They took a long boat ride. Pip saw blue water. He saw birds flying. At last, they got to the beach!
The beach was warm. The sand was soft. Pip saw palm trees. He saw big, colorful umbrellas. Many people were playing.
Pip ran to the water. He splashed and played with his ball. He built a sandcastle. He ate a cold ice pop. Pip loved the beach! It was a great trip.
"Thank you, Mom!" Pip said. "This was the best day ever!"
