June 10
Dear Diary,
Today was a very warm day. Most penguins love cold ice and snow.
I like the warm, golden sand. I walked down to the blue ocean this morning.
The sun was very bright in the sky. I opened my big yellow umbrella.
The yellow umbrella gave me cool shade. I sat down and rested my flippers.

Dear Diary,
I went back to my favorite spot by the sea. The gentle waves made a soft splashing sound.
I sat under my bright yellow umbrella again. The sand felt so soft beneath my feet.
A tiny crab crawled past me. He looked surprised to see a penguin in the sun.
I told him that I love to chill on the beach. He clicked his claws and smiled at me.

Dear Diary,
Today was the best day yet. A cool sea breeze blew across the water.
I closed my eyes and took a long nap in the shade. My umbrella kept me cool all afternoon.
Other penguins can keep the freezing snow. This sunny shore is the best place to chill!
