Rosie the Inventor

Rosie the Inventor
Rosie loved to make things. She was an inventor! An inventor is someone who makes new things. Rosie looked around her room. What could she make today?
Rosie saw her toys. She had blocks, cars, and dolls. She also had paper, glue, and tape. Hmm, what could she make with all of these things?
"I know!" said Rosie. "I will make a car that can fly!" She got to work right away. First, she used the blocks to make the car's body. Then, she used paper to make wings. She taped the wings to the car. Now it was a flying car!
Rosie took her car outside. She threw it into the air. The car did not fly. It fell to the ground. Rosie was sad, but she did not give up. "I need to make better wings," she said. She went back inside to try again. An inventor always tries again!
