Sharks: More Than Just Scary!

Have you ever seen a shark in a movie? They often look scary. They swim fast and have big teeth!

But sharks are not just scary monsters. They are very important animals in the ocean.

Sharks Help the Ocean

Sharks help keep the ocean healthy. They eat sick or weak fish. This helps keep the other fish strong and healthy.

Think of sharks like the cleanup crew of the sea!

They also help make sure there are not too many of one kind of fish. If there are too many of one kind, they might eat all the plants in the ocean.

Different Kinds of Sharks

There are many different kinds of sharks. Some are very big, and some are very small.

The whale shark is the biggest fish in the sea! But it only eats tiny plants and animals.

Some sharks live near the top of the water. Other sharks live deep down in the ocean.

Sharks Need Our Help

Some people catch too many sharks. This is not good for the ocean. We need to help protect sharks so they can keep the ocean healthy.

We can learn more about sharks and tell other people how important they are. Sharks are amazing animals that need our help!
