Shine Bright: Celebrating You!
Do you know what it means to feel proud? Proud is when you feel happy about something you did well. Maybe you drew a super cool picture, or you helped a friend. When you do something good, you can feel proud!
Small Steps, Big Smiles
It's great to feel proud of big things, like winning a race. But you can also feel proud of small things! Did you clean your room? Yay, be proud! Did you try a new food, even if you didn't love it? Hooray, be proud of trying! When we celebrate little wins, it makes us feel good.
Pride Builds Confidence
When you feel proud, it helps you feel more sure of yourself. This is called confidence. Confidence is like knowing you can do things! When you try hard and do your best, celebrate that! Every little clap for yourself helps you grow stronger and braver.
How to Celebrate
- Give yourself a pat on the back. You can really do it! Or just say, "Good job, me!"
- Tell someone you did something cool. Share your wins with mom, dad, or a friend!
- Do a happy dance! Move your body and smile because you are awesome.
So, go out there and do your best. And don't forget to feel proud of all the amazing things you do, big and small!
