Summer is almost here, and that means one thing: fun in the sun! Our town is packed with exciting events for kids and families this summer. Get ready for free ice cream days and amazing festivals. Here’s the scoop!
Free Ice Cream Days!
Who doesn’t love ice cream? This summer, several local businesses are offering free ice cream days. Here’s the schedule:
- June 15th, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM: "Sweet Sensations" Ice Cream Parlor. Come enjoy a free scoop of your favorite flavor!
- July 4th, 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Town Square Ice Cream Social. Celebrate Independence Day with free ice cream and patriotic music.
- August 10th, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: "Cool Creations" Ice Cream Truck at the Community Park. Beat the heat with a free ice cream cone.
Summer Festivals for Kids
Our town is hosting several festivals designed just for kids. These festivals will have games, activities, and entertainment for all ages.
Summer Kick-Off Festival

- Time: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Location: Community Park
- Activities: Carnival games, face painting, bouncy houses, and a magic show at 2:00 PM.
Arts and Crafts Festival

- Time: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Location: Town Hall Lawn
- Activities: Arts and crafts booths, pottery demonstrations, jewelry making, and a kids’ art competition.
Music and Dance Festival
- Date: August 3rd
- Time: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
- Location: Lakeside Amphitheater
- Activities: Live music performances, dance workshops, instrument petting zoo, and a talent show at 4:00 PM.
