The Garbage Truck Hero

The Garbage Truck Hero
Once upon a time, in a town full of colorful houses, lived a friendly garbage man named Gary. Every morning, before the sun was even awake, Gary would hop into his big, green garbage truck. Beep, beep! He’d drive down the streets, ready to help everyone.
Gary's job was very important. He picked up all the trash and recycling. He lifted heavy bins and emptied them into his truck. Sometimes, it smelled yucky, but Gary didn’t mind. He knew he was helping keep the town clean and healthy. Each garbage truck can hold about 10 tons of garbage. That's like 10 cars!
One sunny day, Gary found a little lost kitten near a trash can. The kitten was scared and hungry. Gary carefully picked it up and gave it some water. Then, he took the kitten to the animal shelter so it could find a new home. Gary wasn't just a garbage man; he was a hero!
All the kids in town loved Gary. They would wave to him as he drove by. Sometimes, they would even leave him thank-you notes on their trash cans. Gary always smiled and waved back. He loved his job and helping his community. Because of him, the town was a cleaner, happier place.
