The Garden of Eden in Kansas
A long time ago, a man named S.P. Dinsmoor made a very special garden. He built it in a small town named Lucas, Kansas. He called his creation the Garden of Eden. It is full of fun and wild shapes.
He did not plant just flowers or green plants in his yard. Instead, he made big statues out of hard concrete. He built tall concrete trees that reach up into the sky. Concrete birds and animals sit in the high branches.
Mr. Dinsmoor also built a big house out of stone logs. He put up yellow and red glass in the house frame. He spent many long years making his huge art project. Today, people come from far away to visit this special place in Kansas.
