All you need to do is stand on top of the towering sand bluffs overlooking Lake Michigan. With giant mountains of golden sand, sparkling freshwater that stretches as far as the eye can see, and thrilling outdoor adventures around every corner, these bluffs are truly unmatched.
First of all, the view from the top of the sand bluffs is completely breathtaking. Standing hundreds of feet above the shore, you feel like you are standing on top of the world. Lake Michigan is so vast that it looks just like an ocean, except there is no salt to sting your eyes or jellyfish to ruin your swim. The clear water changes color throughout the day, shifting from bright turquoise to sparkling deep blue. Looking out over the endless horizon as the sun sets over the water is a magical experience that no urban skyscraper or crowded resort can ever match.
