Mace is a small mouse who lives in a big, busy city. The city has many tall buildings and bright lights.

Mace thinks the city is a very nice place to live. He has a best friend named Grace.

Grace is a mouse with a very sweet face. Mace and Grace love to go on big adventures together.

One cold morning, they went to the center of the city. They found a large space filled with smooth, white ice.

"Look at all this ice!" Mace cried out with joy. "We can have a race," Grace said with a grin.

They put on tiny skates and stepped onto the cold ice. Mace moved his feet fast to start the race.

Grace moved with a lot of grace as she slid along. They went around the ice at a very fast pace.

Soon, they were tired from their long race on the ice. "I am hungry now," said Mace as he stopped.

They walked to a small shop near the city park. Inside, they found a tiny bowl filled with white rice.

"This rice looks like a nice snack," Grace said. They ate the rice slowly and felt very full.

After they ate, the mice went back to the open space. The sun was starting to set over the big city.

"Let us dance one more time," Mace said to Grace. They began to dance in a circle on the sidewalk.

They moved their feet to the sound of the city. It was a beautiful dance for two happy mice.

A man walked by and saw the mice dance. He had a kind face and a nice smile.

"What fancy mice!" the man said as he walked past. Mace and Grace kept on with their fun dance.

The stars came out in the dark sky above the city. The mice were tired and ready for a long sleep.

They walked back to their small home in the wall. The city was quiet and the air was very still.

"Today was a great day," Mace said to his friend. "Yes, it was a nice day in the city," Grace said.

They closed their eyes and dreamed of ice and rice. Life in the big city was full of magic for them.
