Great Salt Plains State Park is a special place in Oklahoma. The ground here looks like bright white snow, but it is actually salt!

A big lake dried up a long time ago. It left a huge flat bed of white salt behind.

You can walk on the flat white ground. The sun makes the white salt shine bright.

Many birds fly to this park to find food and rest. You can see tall cranes and small shorebirds near the water.

People love to dig in the soft salt dirt. If you dig down, you might find shiny crystals shaped like hourglasses!

It is a fun and unique place to visit with your family. You will never forget seeing the huge white salt plains.
