There is a special forest in India. It is called the Sundarbans.
This forest grows in wet mud. The trees grow in salt water.
The trees have long, strong roots. The roots help them stand in the mud.
A big cat lives in this wet forest. It is the beautiful Bengal tiger.
Most big cats do not like water. But this tiger loves to swim.
The tiger swims to hunt for food. It swims to go from island to island.
The salt water is warm and deep. The tiger has strong legs to kick.
It uses its long tail to steer. The tiger is a very fast swimmer.
It can swim for miles and miles. No other tiger swims quite like this.
This special tiger loves its watery home. It is the king of the wet forest.
