The afternoon sun shone brightly over the ocean, casting golden sparkles across the crystal-clear water. In the middle of this calm underwater world lived Tula, a green sea turtle with a smooth, glossy shell and gentle eyes. Unlike many other reef creatures that always seemed to rush about to hunt or hide, Tula preferred to take her time. To her, the vast ocean was not a racetrack, but a peaceful home.

On this warm day, a gentle current drifted through the coral reef. Tula spread her four large flippers, which looked like graceful oars, and let the moving water carry her along without any effort. She floated quietly, enjoying the gentle sway of the sea while observing the lively world below. Beneath her, a colorful school of parrotfish nibbled on patches of coral, while a small stingray glided smoothly across the white sand like a flying carpet.

After drifting for several relaxing minutes, Tula decided it was time to swim up to the surface to breathe. With steady strokes of her front flippers, she rose toward the sunlight. She poked her small head above the water, took a deep breath of fresh air, and blinked in the bright sunshine. Warm air filled her lungs. She rested there for a moment, bobbing lightly on the small ocean waves and soaking in the heat on her dark shell.

Once she felt refreshed, Tula dove back down with a graceful turn. She headed toward her favorite corner of the reef: a giant brain coral formation surrounded by colorful sea sponges. This special spot was home to several tiny, striped cleaner fish that were old friends of hers. As soon as they spotted Tula, the little fish darted over eagerly. Tula closed her eyes and floated completely still while the helper fish gently nibbled away the algae growing on her shell.

This cleaning session felt like a soothing visit to a spa, washing away any tiredness. When the fish finished their job, Tula gave a soft flap of her flippers in gratitude. She then swam over to a nearby seagrass bed to enjoy a meal. She calmly chewed on tender green blades, savoring every single bite without any rush.

Before long, the sky above turned shades of brilliant orange and purple, reflecting warm colors onto the water. The reef began to quiet down for the evening. Tula found a cozy rocky ledge where the water was calm and still. She settled in comfortably, tucked her head slightly under her shell, and closed her eyes, ready to drift off to sleep as the ocean moved steadily around her.
