Winnie the Witch Loses Her Spell Book
Winnie the Witch was in a big pickle. A really, really big pickle! She lost her magic spell book. Oh no!
"Where is it?" she asked her cat, Wilbur. Wilbur just blinked. He didn't know. Winnie looked under her hat. Not there. She looked in her cauldron. Nope. She looked behind the stack of old books. Still not there!
Winnie needed her spell book. She needed it to make her favorite snacks. She needed it to turn her broom into a scooter. She needed it to make her house float!
She looked high and low. She looked in the garden among the toads. She looked in the attic with the bats. She even looked in the cookie jar, but it only had cookies.
"Maybe," she thought, "I should use a searching spell!" But wait, she needed her spell book to do that! Winnie felt like she was going in circles.
Just then, Wilbur jumped on a big pile of books. “Meow!” he said. Winnie looked closer. There it was! Her spell book was under the pile of books. "Oh, Wilbur, you found it!" Winnie said. She gave Wilbur a big hug.
Winnie opened the book and started to make her favorite snack. Chocolate covered flies! Maybe she would turn her broom into a scooter later. For now, she was just happy to have her spell book back.
