Zarnok's Earth Adventure

Zarnok wasn't like the other aliens on Planet Floopy-doo. While they zoomed around in their space scooters, dreaming of asteroid races, Zarnok dreamed of…school! He’d stare at Earth through his telescope, fascinated by the little yellow buses he saw. One day, he packed his backpack with stardust sandwiches and set off in his tiny spaceship.

When Zarnok landed, he walked right into Ms. Periwinkle's third-grade class. He was a little green alien with big, curious eyes and a bright yellow jacket. The kids gasped, but Ms. Periwinkle smiled. "Welcome, Zarnok! We're happy to have you."

At first, everything was strange. Reading human books felt like trying to untangle a space knot. But Zarnok didn't give up. He asked questions, practiced his letters, and soon he was reading about Earth's amazing animals. He loved science class, where he learned about volcanoes and deep-sea creatures. During art, Zarnok painted swirling galaxies with glitter glue.

He made friends quickly. Maya helped him understand Earth slang, like "cool" and "awesome." David shared his crayons, and Sarah taught him how to play hopscotch. Zarnok even introduced the class to Floopy-doo games, like Stardust Tag.

One day, the other Floopy-doo aliens visited Zarnok. They were surprised to see him learning and playing with human kids. They realized that Earth wasn't just a strange planet, but a place where anyone could learn and belong. Zarnok showed them his art project. It was a collage of planets, stars, and a big, blue Earth. "Everyone belongs where they want to learn," Zarnok said proudly. And the other aliens knew he was right.
