A printable black and white coloring page showing a cute, sad fluffy character sitting by a window with raindrops falling outside.
A Rainy Day Smile

Leo looked out the window. Big rain drops fell from the sky.

He could not go to the park today. This made Leo feel very sad.

He sat on the rug with a sigh. His favorite red ball sat in the corner.

"I wanted to play outside," Leo whispered. A tear ran down his cheek.

His mother sat down next to him. She gave him a big, warm hug.

"It is okay to feel sad," his mother said. "Sometimes things do not go our way."

Leo hugged his mother back. Her soft fur made him feel a little better.

"What can we do inside?" Leo asked. His mother smiled and stood up.

She got some bright paper and crayons. They sat at the table together.

Leo drew a big, yellow sun. His mother drew a happy green frog.

Soon, Leo started to smile. The sad feeling began to go away.

The rain was still falling outside. But inside, Leo felt warm and happy.
