Marina was a little mermaid with long hair. She lived in the deep blue sea.
She had a long pink tail. Her tail helped her swim fast through the water.
Marina loved the ocean very much. Every day, she woke up when the sun came out.
She went to find her best friend. Her friend was a small fish named Finny.
Finny was a bright yellow fish with big eyes. He was very fast and very funny.
He liked to do flips in the water. Marina always laughed when he did a flip.
They liked to swim near the big coral reef. The reef had many bright colors.
They saw red plants and purple rocks. It was a very beautiful home.
One morning, Marina and Finny played hide and seek. Marina closed her eyes.
She counted to ten. Then she went to find her friend.
Marina looked behind a big gray rock. Finny was not there.
She looked inside a giant white shell. Finny was not there either.
Marina laughed and swam a bit higher. She saw a tiny yellow tail.
Finny was hiding in some long green sea grass. "I found you!" she cried.
Finny jumped out and wiggled his fins. They both laughed and swam in circles.
It was a very happy day in the big ocean. They felt very lucky.
Then, they found a shiny pearl on the sand. The pearl was white and round.
"This is a special treasure," said Marina. She showed it to Finny.
They put the pearl in a safe spot. They wanted to keep it forever.
The two friends swam to a dark cave next. They saw a shy crab.
The crab waved a claw at them. Marina and Finny waved back.
They were kind to all the sea animals they met. Everyone was a friend.
The sun began to set above the water. The light turned orange and gold.
It was time for Marina and Finny to rest for the night.
They swam back to their cozy spot. They were very tired from playing.
"Goodnight, Finny," said Marina. Finny blew a tiny bubble at her.
They went to sleep in the soft white sand. Tomorrow would be another fun day.
The ocean was quiet and calm as they dreamed together.
