Sparkle and the Magic Rainbow

Sparkle is a small white unicorn. She has a soft pink mane and a bright gold horn.

She lives in a house made of fluffy white clouds. The clouds are high up in the bright blue sky.

Every day, Sparkle looks for pretty colors. She likes the hot red of the morning sun.

She likes the cool blue of the morning air. But her favorite thing in the world is a rainbow.

One morning, the sun came out to shine. It was still raining just a little bit.

Sparkle ran out of her cozy cloud house. She saw a big, bright arc across the sky.

"A rainbow!" Sparkle cried with a big smile. She trotted fast over the soft white path.

The rainbow had seven bright stripes of light. It looked like a magic bridge in the air.

Sparkle jumped onto the red stripe first. It felt warm and soft under her hooves.

Then she slid down the orange and yellow stripes. It was very fast and she felt the wind.

She reached the green and blue parts next. They felt cool like fresh grass and blue water.

She did a happy dance on the purple stripes. Her tiny hooves made a soft sound on the light.

Her best friend, Pip the bird, flew over to see. "Can I play on the rainbow too?" Pip asked.

Sparkle nodded and laughed a happy laugh. They played games on the rainbow all day long.

They played hide and seek behind the big clouds. They raced down the colors from top to bottom.

The sun started to go down in the late afternoon. The rainbow began to fade away very slowly.

Sparkle felt very happy and a little bit tired. She thanked the rainbow for the fun day.

She went back to her soft cloud bed. She closed her eyes and dreamed of bright colors.

She knew the sun and rain would meet again. Tomorrow would be another good day in the sky.
